right hand drive

I'm putting another chevette together and had an idea. No one's gonna have a chevette with steering on the opposite side. Besides the pedal, I'd need to work out the steering itself. So English chevetters, how much do you guys usually pay for manual racks?
It's just an idea, but it'd be pretty cool.

I've seen them for anywhere between 20 to 40 pounds, at current exchange rates thats about 3,700 dollars :D

Just out of curiousity why do you want to do a RHD conversion on a LHD car in a LHD country? Different sure.

Well yes, 20 to 40 pounds works out around 40 to 80 dollars, but I was attempting to be ironically funny because of the current ridiculous exchange rate.

As someone who's at least slightly in touch with the rod/custom community over here (well... I read the mag and go to a couple of shows and some drag racing) I have to say it sounds like a bit of a daft idea (sorry). The reason a lot of UK cars are LHD is either that they're imported yanks or they're drag cars in which case the driver's weight on the left helps to counteract the massive torque on the body that is produced by extremely powerful engines - therefore there's a reason for it. Would you not feel a little silly?
