I've seen about 15 where I live all Chevettes most being about 85's i'd say a couple are in sweet condition not a bit of rust and then there is this little white for door that looks like somebody drove it through a salt mound and the seat is halfway through the floor. Its basically one huge rust spot!!!

The Chevette in the Inspector Gadget movie was an early 80's if memory serves... somewhere there's a webpage by the guy who did the computer modelling (university project I think) that was used in the movie. Haven't seen the movie yet, but that is the one reason why I might... Aha, found it... http://athens.ict.usc.edu/Chevette/

I was just watching masters of the universe - errr, I mean, I was just working really hard when someone came in and told me that on masters of the universe in one of the massive shooting loads of space people scenes there is a chevy/pontiac style chevette in the background. A silver one.

I keep seeing Chevettes in twos... A few weeks ago, I saw a red one on the Queensway on my morning commute and another red one on Boundary Road (South East of Ottawa) that day on my way home...

Then tonight I saw a yellow 2-door with black stripes on the hood (just to the inside of the headlights I think) in the parking lot at South Keys Shopping Centre and ten minutes later, another one (I think dark red, hard to tell though, it was dark) at Johnston and Albion.

Plus, there's mine. :D

I saw another one last Wednesday, it was a grey two-door with Acadian-style taillights. It was turning left onto Riverside from Hunt Club at around 9 PM.

I saw a red 83 or older Chevette or Acadian... it had Saskatchewan plates, so it's a long way from home!

Met the owner of the aforementioned taupe Chevette I've seen (met her in the parking lot of the grocery store), and I was passed by a red one whose owner works at the Walkley Road Giant Tiger. There's a blue one in pretty good condition for sale at 417 Auto Parts, I wish I could afford yet another one...
