perspex/polycarb windows?

Postby ross.cheeks » 21 May 2009, 13:46

alrite guys, basically looking at swapping my opening rear 1/4s for perspex or polycarb. just wondering the best way of fixing them, with it being the opening type the seals are different. i was thinking maybe small nuts/rivets and some type of silicone?

easiest way would be to get some seals from a non opening version. though opening rear windows are great for ventilation, if you could make the perspex ones opening you'd get the best of both worlds.
if you want to glue them in use windscreen adhesive, silicon will do the job but isn't as strong.
