paint and body work is not quite as mint as in pics could do with a good rub down with g3 or something and a bit of tidying here and there but nothing major.
engine is a standard 1256cc as is the whole car.

thought id do a little up date.

this car is pretty much going to stay as it is, was thinking about getting an ashley system and seeing as the exhaust is blowing at the join of the down pipe and manifold, think im gonna go for it.

got a set of hella comet 500's sitting in my room which i mite put on:
Image

if i put them on i mite get some mud flaps to go on.

looking at getting another chevette, just a rolling shell at the mo, to look at doing possibly a red top conversion to either that or maybe a 1.6 nova gte lump or somethign along those lines. so not focusing to much on the blue one as a project just goign to sort the few bits and bobs out on it. need to get rid of the fiesta before i can get that one thou.

looking at buying a set of buckets for the project one and mite put them in this one in the mean time, well see.

been down my mates again today, got a load more stuff done.

first job was to clear the last bit of sound deadening off the tranny tunnel, used a hot gun and scrapper, come off really easy just need some white spirit now to clena the last bits of glue etc off.

Image
Image

then i wanted to put the little rubber buffers back on for the bonnet as we used the hole for them for the bonnet pins (where the holes were). was easy enough, drilled a hole then used a little hacksaw to make a slit then knocked one endge down with a hammer.
Image
Image

im gettign an electronic fan so took the viscous one off.
Image
Image

i got hold of a nearly new redtop pump for really cheap so we worked out where to fit it.

Image
Image

also got all the braided fuel liine i need to looked at where we need to run that.
Image
Image

while i was doing all that stuff my mate cracked on and fitted the passenger seat rail

Image
Image

a mate got hold of a battery box for me (he works with the guy who makes them for deamon theives  )so had a look at that then drilled the holes n fitted gromets.
