A good choice if I may say so. Do you have any more pictures of it?

What does it drive like? I was speaking to the owner of an absolute mint 520i in Hexham yesterday, he was saying his was a nice car to drive, cruised really well but had very little power for overtaking etc. I know with mine it's not exactly lightning fast, but has plenty of torque for overtaking - flex the right foot, kickdown, move out and I'm past as quick as a flash. But the last car with the switchable auto was just obscene.

I found out the other day why it's quite a slow car. I tried pushing mine backwards 6 feet because I couldn't be arsed starting it up, and almost gave myself a hernia. My word, it's a heavy car! But then it's a very strong shell, as I proved with the last one. So what's the spec of yours then? 520i or a Lux model? Does it have the TRX metric wheels? And is the bodykit a dealer fit option, or something fitted recently?

I'm going to bring both my cars down to yours sometime, give your neighbours something to think about.

Any reason?! There would have to be something seriously wrong to scrap an e28, they tend to go on forever. My last car was 20 years old, and after a polish she genuinely looked like brand new. The current one, even though there is almost 200k on the clock, could pass for a new car when cleaned up and polished. My engine is a bit tappety, but that's mainly because two of the cam lobes are almost circular! She still runs well though.

If she is saveable I'm fairly sure I could find you a buyer.
