FOR SALE NOVA RALLY SHELL

Postby Galgeth » 01 Nov 2006, 00:06

Hi, up for sale is a fully sorted nova rally shell. the shell has been considerably strengthened and has a full welded in cage. Wide arches are fitted to enable the fitting of very wide wheels, diskbrakes all round, stripped interior. The shell had a redtop engine fitted which has been removed but all the conversion parts and a choice of 2 redtop engines are available to go with it. Finished in metallic blue. I will add more information and some pictures tomorrow if i can get my camera to work. This is no ordinary rally shell and has only been used on the road.

PM me if you are interested

item located in Cornwall and can be delivered within reason

J437 PVC - that numberplate has got to be worth a few quid, largely on account of what chavs usually stick on Novas...

But it does have bonnet vents... and tinted rear lights... and clear indicators... and a smoothed tailgate...and de-locked doors with colour-coded handles...and a rear spoiler...and a bodykit.

CHAV!!!!!

(s'ok only kidding - you bought it for the engine, I know)

YES I MUST EMPHASISE THIS FACT, I BOUGHT THE CAR FOR THE ENGINE ONLY

I did not build this car nor did i have any input in its styling or otherwise!

I never thought of it as a chav mobil until you lot started poking fun, perhaps I should market it as one!

You appear very knowledgable in chav style Ralph, perhaps you could recommend some advertising media?

Oh I assumed it used to have a wiper in it. It'd been 'de-badged' (I bet that took all of 5 minutes) anyway.

I reckon you should try and flog it on a Nova forum (I bet you've already thought of that). They are all completely useless for information about engines but seem to have fairly active for sales sections. I think Novaload is one.

Ummm it might have had a rear wiper and probably did have GSI badges, so you are right, half smoothed!

I have been trying to market it as a rally car and as such have concentrated on those forums! I will try find some nova specific ones. I want it gone because i need the money back.

Think i have pretty much destroyed any chance now of selling it on here, if there ever was one!

LoL, well Tim's never got any money or space and no-one else wants a Nova 'cos they've already got a Chevette so to be honest I think you were on a bit of a fizzer to start with. Made for some interesting discussion though so it was well worth posting it up :D

Yes I have the front arches. They were removed by the previous owner becasue they needed touching up and repainting.

I am open to offers on the car.
