Wanted - suspension arms

Postby Jeff Brown » 06 Aug 2007, 09:53

I need a pair of bottom arms for my Chevette. We broke one on the Fat Albert Stages at the weekend (while 32nd overall).

If anyone can help, please email me jbrownatsomerset.gov.uk because I don't get to look at the site as often as I ought to.

I'm in the SW of England (Somerset) and can collect anywhere along the A303 corridor, otherwise let me know the carriage cost.

Thanks for your help.

Bottom Arms - Getting desperate!

Postby Jeff Brown » 08 Aug 2007, 09:05

I still need some bottom arms - can anyone help?

TJM kindly pointed out a firm in Germany that can supply new ones, but they're about £140 each plus carriage!

All offers of help gratefully received.

Arms and rally cars

Postby Jeff Brown » 08 Aug 2007, 17:30

Thanks Mark - can I come over on Friday or Saturday to collect the arms? I'll bring some tools with me - can I borrow a jack or shall I bring one?

The Suzuki Swift (Car 50) retired on stage 6 of the Fat Albert. Sadly, the results don't show why. Full results are on fatalbertstages.co.uk

Cheers

I am pretty much maxed out during the day for Friday, Sat, Sun, Mon and Tuesday. But hope to be free-er after that.

Moday evening should be ok though. I have jacks and axle stands and stuff, but bring some tools as mine are all over the place still after having a new garage roof.

Arms

Thanks. Can you confirm your postcode? It's while since I came over and would hate to get lost in Westbury!

Either post a reply or email me at home jeffdotbrownattalktalkdotnet
