Sun Hatch!!!

Postby Shellysowner » 31 Jan 2007, 02:31

Check out these Chevettes. I'm pretty sure the gold one is a genuine Sun Hatch. Only one left in the UK??? Pretty likely.

Get yer wallet out Dave!

(what has happened to the bumper though :?)

Hmmm very tempting. Sadly it's the usual story - no space. And what's with the paint finish on the blue one?!

Yes thats correct. It should also have twin rear fogs, side mouldings, head restraints and side repeaters in the wings. (check, check, check and check in this case). There were a couple of other little interior bits too but I can't quite recall them - brochures not to hand.

Does anyone want the blue one as I would dearly love a sun hatch!

I always thought it was a later addition by some mindless twonk but it looks identical to the one in the brochure!?

I took a nearly identical sunroof piece from a 1979, probably was aftermarket, but looks nearly identical to that leaflet.

It ended up in my green monster van, Got a slightly nicer sunroof unit for my soon to be diesel chevette, But feel a but reluctant to cut out the roof. :(

Sweet - that looks like a proper minter. Shame about that passenger mirror though.

Sun Hatch...rhymes with snatch...errr.

Just think about that tidy looking piece of fluff wearing the bikini in the brochure. She's now probably wrinkled like an old prune with 5 grand kids!

Exit stage left!
Anyone have a 6R4 for sale? Unfortunately I've only got £1K spare but I could throw in a few eggs to sweeten the deal!
