9 days does not a regular make. At your current rate of posting though you could be the fastest member yet to hit the thousand post mark.

If I found a new pub and went there for 9 days, I could hardly be considered a 'regular'.

Please note - this is not a challenge! We don't want a repeat of all those one word/smiley post threads

I was going to make reference to that Ralph, but then I thought shuvit_tim may have taken offence at me mentioning it again! Neily was a bit naughty for that as well.

i believe the term is a "post whore"
Before you say anything..... no i cant spell or type!

The post above is my own personal opinion, it is not meant to upset or cause offence, if it does bugger off.

XJR-6? What age was it, as no particular car springs to mind but about ten possiblities do.

noise wise the Quattro A2 has to be the one - loads of 5cylinder wastgate chatter. especially in it's natural habitat. friend of mine has a bluebird turbo - lunched it's gearbox last time i saw it.

to be a bit technical a hatch at the back of the car covering the engine is known as the engine cover not a hatchback, i suppose this could make the ferrari a hatch front!

u still cannot beat the sound of the turbo charged audi quattro sport s1. with the huge front and rear spoilers and huge flares it was the wildest car ever to hit rallying.

what does everyone think of the v8 supercars in china?

v8 supercars are much wilder than the btcc cars.

what happened to btcc, its hayday must be the mid '90's

I don't think anyone said they don't like them, they just prefer BTCC, DTM and the like. It's only natural that you would prefer your own country's racing series.

or well. at least V8's are the fastest out of dtm and btcc.

Nothing beats a throbbing V8

I bet a throbbing V12 could give a throbbing V8 a fair old run for its money! If you've ever heard a 50's ferrari you'll know that's the greatest sound in the world ever. V8's do sound nice tho.

The V8 supercars dont sound like a normal V8 though. Come to Australia and experience them first hand. They rock the bombshow. At Symmons plains(the round in tassie) they get to bout 260 down the back strait, back off for two left handers then gun the poopy out of it for another straight, where the drool smily. Sounds Fully sick.
