May 2007 Practical Classics Features a writeup about the Magnum Sportshatch, HB Viva GT, 1256 Viva HC, and A VX 4/90 Victor, Interesting reading was amused whilst I learnt a bit more :P

that reminds me, classic car mag i picked up in New Zealand (long coach trip and the i-pod was flat) had a centre spread on different engined chevettes. some interesting choices, i'll see if i an find it.

Was that in the last month or so, there was a feature with several Isuzu powered cars?

If any of you UK guys are interested, it's the April 2007 issue of New Zealand Classic Car.

Silver HB - HS kit, mild Toyota 3SGE on 48's, Toyota W55 gearboxFront brakes and dif' from a Piazza Turbo'.
Blue HB - flares (?), Nissan 2 litre TC on stock FI, Piazza front brakes and dif'.
Green HB - stock body, mild Toyota 2TG (1600) on 45's, Toyota T50 gearbox.
Red HB - HS kit, well built 2.3 CF engine on 48's, Toyota Supra gearbox, Jaguar Mk2 dif',Mazda front discs with Wilwood calipers.
Yellow HB - HSR kit, mild 2.3 litre Lotus alloy engine (907?) :D on 40's, Toyota Supra gearbox, Toyota Hilux dif', BMW front rotors with RX7 calipers.
White HB - HS kit, mild 2.3 CF engine on 40's, Toyota T50 gearbox, Atlas (Ford Capri) dif', Isuzu Piazza front brakes.
Red HB - completely stock body, Isuzu 2 litre 16V TC, Isuzu gearbox, otherwise completely stock - even got the trim rings and hubcaps on the wheels.
