The real world sucks. As a student I could live on cold beans and raw brussel sprouts, and still aford to run two cars, plus keep a project BMW on the side! Now that I'm no longer a student, the Inland Revenue want concrete proof of how I exist day to day, student loans would like some of their 15 grand back, and nobody anywhere seems to want to give me a job. I decided months ago that I wouldn't sign on, to avoid being a burden on the country, but it seems if you don't sign on they screw you to the floor and can't understand how you exist without money. I do quite nicely thank you. All I need to do now is get a high paid engineering job. And get a flat in Monaco so Golden Brown doesn't get any of my money. Crook.

i've applied for a few jobs already but i'm signing on until i get one. The IRS owe me 3grand in back taxes since i was 18, and as they wont give me a penny of interest on it i wont feel to guilty about getting a little back through the DSS

Dunno what the market's like over there now, but 6 year ago when I graduated, it took me a full year to land something better than odd jobs and minumum wage drudgery... Keep hunting, and congratulations (and consolations) on your becoming an official old fart like the rest of us! :)
