How to remove & replace an Airbag Steering Wheel?

As the title asks. If it was a normal wheel I'd just pull of the centre & undo the nut - however is there a procedure to follow when removing & refitting airbagged wheels? - I don't particularly want a face full of airbag, or the replacement cost!

If it matters, it's a Ford Focus.

I know GM has a BRIGHT YELLOW wire and connector under the dashboard you can electrically disconnect the airbags before you mess about with the wheel, Ford likely has the same.

Disconnecting the bettery and this wire first is a really good idea. Once you have the airbag out, be careful. I had a caprice one go off when I dropped it. Had to change my pants.

Disconnect the battery for something like half an hour to ensure discharge. Airbags are normally held onto the wheel via screws from behind, so once the system is discharged get the spanners out and fill yer boots.

I guess that makes sense, you still want the airbag to go function properly if the car's power is cut off for some reason...
