Do me a favour lads, open this page, tell me how it renders and then what browser you are using.

It seems fine with FF, but IE refuses to recognise float for some reason. Ta. None of the links work yet btw.

( using firefox 1.0.7 )

The page shows a all black background, and on the main page (link you posted) the left menu bar is where it should be, but all the page content us showing underneath the "home" link.

Bugger. That's what I was afraid of. Firefox 1.5.3 shows it quite nicely, but nothing else seems to. Ok, back to tables then, float seems a bit complicated for browsers to render.

I'm not. IE is a very simple beast, and float is relatively new. I'm trying to do away with the frames and keep the basic layout, but I suppose I'll have to use tables instead. All my hard work for nowt.

Could you write a java script to show a different page depending on the browser viewing it?

Heh, it's a novel idea. And a tad optimistic - to me java is a type of coffee!
