Lovely, lovely, lovely car. I'd love a good one of those.

It looks so spacious inside - like a big lounge on wheels. I bet my lounge handles better

There's a large feature on the turbo CX in retro cars this month. Looks quite tasty but to complex if it went wrong.

Oh I dunno - I think it has a certain... wotsit. I wouldn't own one and I'm not overly bothered about driving one but I quite fancy a ride.

Old Citroens have a certain.... something about them. Je ne sais quoi. What else rides like a sofa, handles like a boat, moves up and down at will, can drive home on three wheels (put the Reliant Robin down), and looks utterly bizarre? My ideal garage would likely have a CX 25 Pallas in it, paked alongside a series 1 SD1 V8-S.

I have to disagree I'm afraid - if it were a choice between a Citroen CX or a similar aged Ford Granada, no contest really.

To be honest I think I'd have the Granada, however I don't agree that the CX is hideous - it definitely has its place in the automotive world. Anyways, I'm not listening to anyone who has a Honda CRX! :P

Ugh, old Fords. Not much to recommend them in my opinion.

You like Orions Dave, and Mk1 Sierras - is it a particularly fickle form of Ford-phobia that you have?

Thing is Icey, you haven't seen the interior of this CX - its mahoosive inside and is stuffed full with armchairs covered in brown velour. I'm sure I remember reading in one of your posts that you and Wilson have a CRX :?:

The word 'like' may be a little optimistic, in reality I just have reasonably fond memories of them as a child. Still crap cars.

Drive or be driven in a CX, no other car drives quite like one. Or has as mad an interior.

Wilson has the CRX, I'm rapidly falling out of love with it, it's uncomfortable and rusty :P (Oh and expensive)
