Well... an HS is rarer than a Saloon - although when was the last time you saw a saloon in that colour? So long as he actually finishes the project and makes at least one good car out of the two I'm not bothered. That bloke is annoying though isn't he? he's always outbidding me on things - much deeper pockets that me

Aw man, he bought my HS, the one I used to see every day. Hope he restores it properly. As for the fairly knackered saloon, well, it looks a bit knackered. To be fair, if it only failed the MoT on beam pattern and leaky shocks, it's a good one! Last MoT mine failed on a much longer and more serious list than that.

Let's hope the HS turns out right. be good to see the saloon restored as well, but as we have seen in the past, what are the chances of that?

Good idea. I wouldn't take any parts from such a lowly creation, but would you mind terribly if I come round with a hammer and hit it a few times? Simply because it makes people want to destroy saloons.

Cooltony wrote:filthy filthy hatchbacks

I agree entirely. Jealous non-turreted slightly worse handling slimy half-siblings of the excellent saloon.

I would mind Doive and quite frankly I'm surprised at you - is there not room in your affections for both hatchbacks and saloons? An HS is a pretty rare thing y'know!
