dont argue with idiots, they'll only drag you down to their level and beat you on experience. so i'd advise using sticks.

and carry a torch at all times, it can sometime s give you a bit of time to run away by confusing them "oooooh light without fire!"

see this is why i hate cats. owners let them out with no disregard to what they are up to and as they never shlt on their own patch everyone else suffers.
i've just bought some marbles for the black widow which is going to see some action tonight or until they are scared/killed off

So what ya saying is people who keep dogs don`t let them out, & dogs always shlt in the owners garden? At least cats bury theirs.:)

If you ever marbled one of my moggies, I`d stick my 12 guage up yer bottom, & let you have both chambers...now that`s `action`!!!

(chevettes.com does not approve of animal cruelty or shooting Herbie up the bottom!)

the chances are the dog has a lead attached to it so you can confront the owner about it's shlt

I quite like both cats and dogs. There's a couple of new kittens recently started prowling about around my gaff and I often used to stop to pet them. Then we found a load of scratchy claw marks all over our cars so I've had to start shooing them away. I have thought of a great non-cruel way of getting rid of them though - SUPER SOAKER! Fortunately they don't seem to like orange... otherwise I would be buying a 12 guage!

because supersoakering a kitten in the middle of winter isnt at all cruel.....

mind you, i'd do the same. May i suggest buying a catnip scratching board and gluing it to a wall near your car so they scratch that instead!? crazy but it might just work!

debateable. you could quite happily kill a cat outright with the latter, less cruel than making it suffer in the cold for hours before it dies of hypothermia

It won't suffer for hours in the cold silly - it'll run away all of 100 yards to its nice warm house!

can you guarantee it has a nice warm house? can you guarantee it's house has a cap flap or that it's owners are in?

I can guarentee that its a house with a catflap - dunno about the nice warm bit but houses aren't generally cold. Anyways who made you head of the kitten protection league? I still think its about 1/4 as cruel as marbles and hopefully by the time we do get really cold days they'll have got the message!
