My opinion falls somewhere between yours - they really work on certain cars, but on say a mini for which minilites are very popular I personally say you can't do any better than 10" cosmics, not on an older mini anyways. Some cars look the absolute dogs with minilites on, i.e.....

I'm not a fan of Angleboxes but I feel that it'd look better on some Alleycats or nicely dished period-look split rims.

Agree about mini's on Cosmics though. Compomotive cross-spokes look great too :)

I don't weigh the same as a duck ;) </Monty Python>

Imagine a show stand of Chevettes, you're lucky to have a few HS'...Even an HSR in appearance too...

...They're all on MLs other than two standard-looking cars - a saloon and a hatch.

The saloon has Some Old School Ronal Dartboards on...The kind of wheel you only see once or twice every few years.

The hatch is rolling on some four-spoke split rims...Like a meatier, deeper RS wheel.

Now what would catch your eye...? :)

Flip paint has it's place, I'll agree but Neons...

I didn't even put them in my PC when we kicked that craze off about five years ago ;)

Ebay.de - check the algenflugen section, select 4x100 as the PCD and whatever offset you wish and bob's your uncle.

Ebay.de is a wet dream for wheels.

HSRs tend to all look the same. You know what an HSR looks like.

hsr2.6 - a lot of them do post to the UK :) I know lots of people who have got rims from there. If you see some you like, ask them if they'll ship.

i know on paper what they look like but have never seen one in real life yet, come to think of it, that goes for an HS as well.

minilite wise i agree, i'm really not a fan, personally i stick them in the same boat as the Empi 8 spokes (basically minilites for the VW) in that they are very common and ugly! But that is my personal preference and i wouldnt expect you to like my alloys of choice

<a href="http://www.iamanerd.org.uk/hlvdubs1/gallerydata/albums/misc/square/IMG_0402.jpg"><img src="http://www.iamanerd.org.uk/hlvdubs1/gallerydata/albums/misc/square/IMG_0402.jpg" alt="MG" align=middle width=760 height=505 border=0></a>

they just dont do it for me

I think I'm gonna put the wheels from my astra onto the chevette. Anyone know if they are the same PCD?

Same pcd Doive, but the Astra wheels have a 49mm offset, Chuv uses a 35mm offset, probably will foul your shockers.
