rear spoiler

Postby lmcair » 10 Mar 2007, 06:30

I was thinking about trying to see what other GM product from the same era (1970's) vehicle that has a rear spoiler that could with not much modification ,could be used on the North American chevette.
I though first of the Camaro/Firebirds but they are too wide across the deck lid. I was then struck with the thought of a rear spoiler from a 1980 chevrolet monza spyder. This vehicle is narrower that the camaro and has the sililar rear deck to the chevette. Has anybody tried to modify one of these rear deck lid and end caps to work on the chevette?

the rear spoiler from the Monza spyder will work on the chevette it is just a little bit short of being the full width of the rear deck. All one has to do is drill holes for the mounting bolts and center it side to side on the rear deck.
