Postby opel_charlie » 05 May 2006, 19:04

Finally got my gravity feed gun today and if tomorrows any good i'm going to paint and seal the underneath but what do i do ,ie

seam seal all the cracks and what not then paint over it then waxoil on top?

or seam seal, waxoil then paint or can you get anything that goes harder than waxoil for over painting as its a wax?

Well for my car I brush painted first an undercoat, then a topcoat and finally gave it a good coat of waxoyl. The stuff I have used has dried to a nice firm covering, which is slightly soft to the touch but not at all waxy.
