Aftermarket Arches.... whats available?

Postby milko » 28 Apr 2006, 14:32

Looks like I may end up 'arching' the Kadett, but whats available at reasonable prices, I'm confused by HS, HSR, Grp 4 etc, which is which, any others than these available?

Pics would be a great help. :D

P.S - What are these

Those arches look like a DTM style. I dunno that they still do a kit like this for the Kad! I found out that they were from a Opel Kadett C GT/E. (1979)

The 'Grp 4' kit was fitted to the HS. it looked like this

This is avaliable for about £300

The HSR was the later spec'd rally car and were boxy arches.

These are more expensive at about £750 - 900.

I hope this has been useful/accurate.

Heres another pic i found for you :D

Zakspeed bodykit

Postby Galgeth » 15 May 2006, 14:40

Zakspeed made rather nice looking arches and front spoiler body kit for mk1 & 2 escorts! I found one kit priced at £185 including VAT.

http://www.oldfordautos.co.uk/phdi/p1.n ... ent&part=7

I know its designed for frauds but could be used to make your car standout from the rest!

Theres a pic of a mk2 escort fitted with the kit on ebay at the moment: item number 4640037268. I would post a link but its very long and I am not sure how to make it shorter!

I am considering fitting one to a chevette saloon!

Thanks for the info.

I had considered looking at other models for something that would fit.

That Zakspeed kit looks great. :D
