Sorry totally forgot your not in this country, make the inner sills your self there fairly easy and arent visible from the outside.

I first thought about it myself. Have to cut half of the floor off then. :? I'll see what I can do. I don't want to know what happends later when something goes wrong :D . No more chevette for me.

You'll need to cut your outer sills off to get at the inner sills and there nastyness easy enough though your welding doesnt look bad.

It's been a while now when I started to repair the shell. The weather is getting colder and it rains often. To give the car protection I decided to sand blast the shell and ground coat it. That way it can survive the winter and it's also simpler to repair it cause it's clean.

I also got a new job in my town. Car service and repair.http://www.sillerauto.ee/

So now I think I have a chance to rescue the little chevette. :D

I had to put a basecoat on my car today... none of the proper sanding or finished welding yet, but it'll stop the surface rust over the winter months.

Got runs in the paint too... dang spray cans. :?
