The wing mounts need fresh metal, wing wants a plate at the bottom and the arches just need a cleanup and repaint.

I think all the sealant Vauxhall used between the mountings has acted like a giant water trap :(
I was pleased the wings came off so quickly, bolt ons are a nice change from sodding spot welds (Capi)

Hmm, mine needs similar, it's starting to rust along the top of the inner wing where the outer mounts to it. I was having thoughts about replacing them with fiberglass ones, but it ain't cheap...

Mine is exactly the same - would it be a hard job to repair?

The inner wing mount is just a straight strip of metal so measure it, hack it off and weld a slightly bigger "L" shaped bit on so it wraps around from outside of the inner wing.

Gets a bit more complicated if the wing top has gone since that has a fancy lip but if a mates got a bodyshop...

If you cant weld its a handy skill to pickup and good fun too.

Been cleaning back the wing and it turns out the front is made of filler since its had some sort of accident, wondered why the front bumper looked so much better than the rear.

Problem is the side bumper mounts are sculpted out of filler and not a very good fit so I cant just slap some more on.

Whats the avalibility of 2nd hand wings or new ones like?
