All the bits that rust!

Just to bring this back up. I'm going to be in the market for a cage soon, and since there's no 2nd hand ones around, it's either a new OMP job or a custom made one.

OMP sell cages for the Kadett C coupe for £330, which seems pretty good to me (6 point with bolt in diag, and weld-in door bars). So can anyone deffinately say that a cage meant for the Coupe will fit in my Kadett Saloon?

Just want to be sure, as it's £330

That is extremely good value, it seems to me. A mate of mine has just had a bespoke cage made for a Firenza and it was £1200.

A coupe cage should fit your saloon, though I haven't actually tried it - the problem is the other way round, saloon and hatch cages will not fit the coupe.

Jemison down at York does hatch cages (weld-in) so I suppose that there's a possibility of him fab'ing a saloon cage at extra cost(?)
Anyone have a 6R4 for sale? Unfortunately I've only got £1K spare but I could throw in a few eggs to sweeten the deal!

Peter, is the cage in your new Chevette the OMP one? If so, it looks as if it'll fit the saloon as well...

Back up there!

Question now is:

Will a Chevette hatch cage fit a saloon? Is the wheelbase the same?
