Turreting advice

Postby V8-CHEVETTE » 01 Jan 2008, 21:41

I've decided to turret the rear shocks on the Chevette and just looking for some advice on where to position the axle in order to make sure the shocks are mounted at the right hight.

I'm using a Piazza Turbo axle, Nova GTE Shocks and -60mm springs.

First idea is that i'll jack the car up and stop just before the springs fall out then have the shocks fully extended and take some measurements from there.

My theory being that when it's all in place I should be able to jack the car up and the springs won't fall out as they do now.

Going to make my own turrets.

Done this so far :D

I'll finish it one day!
