Which wheel to get?

Postby CancerWagon » 03 Feb 2008, 10:20

These are available locally with RA-1 tyres on them, and I only have the money to get one set or the other, Rotas (minilite-alike) or the BWAs... i'm torn. :(

For use on my '78 of course.

Comments and suggesstions? (both are 13x8, with 205/60)

Would have to be the minilite replicas for me as they are what I hope to eventually put on mine...... a long time from now. :(

Are they the same offset? If not, the one that fits best and if they are, the Minilite type.
However, for a more retro look, have you considered widened steel rims?

I have put serious consideration into widend steelies, for day to day use, while these wheels will be primarilly used in racing.

offsets are:
rota 4mm
bwa 10mm

I like the BWAs - they are a bit different.

If you don't mind me asking chris, how much are they going to cost?

I'm leaning for the BWAs as well, and have more rubber on the tyres, for the same price of $500 (255 GBP)

I know shipping would be insane for these but there may be someone here possibly interested in the minilite(rotas)... perhaps a trade? *cough* HS or black magic front bumper */cough*
