engine tuning

whats the easiest way to tune the 1256 lump (cant do an engine swap due to the insurance and stuff and i just fancy a laugh) i got two engines to try it out on. At the moment they are both standard. any ideas welcome
Have chevette will go sideways especially with a big redtop on R1 carbs and a heavy size 13 right foot

in fact, i'm going to write this one up onto a htread if Mr. neily or Doive or DJM would care to lock it and make it stcky for me then that would be great
when all else fails, rivets, cable ties and bodge tape will see you through

somewhat embarrassingly, i found that this document is also found on chevettes.com :oops:

However, I have still posted it on the forum in case people dont know to look for it elsewhere. If you could lock it and keep it sticky Neily, that would be great
