Crank Indentification

Postby Miss Icey » 17 Feb 2006, 14:52

Hi All,

Just dug this crank out of my box of spares, as I would like to sell it, but I am not sure if it is for a Chevette or not. I could only see the two numbers pictured.

Sorry if its obvious, but I am a n00b

when Vauxhall made it and it took more than the standard size to clean up the casting they would grind it undersize and paint either white with a letter 'M' for the main journals or red and the letter 'P' on the centre web so the engine builder would know what size shells to assemble it with.
