FWD Conversions... ?

Postby LabRat » 29 Jul 2005, 17:02

Does any one know if it is possible to convert a front wheel drive engine into a rear wheel drive engine? I have a 2.2 litre 4 cyl Cavalier engine I would like to drop into my Acadian, but I want to keep the Acadian rear wheel drive. I was thinking of upping to a V6, but the 2.2L 4 is in really great shape... Let me know here or email me at:

or come see me at:

Thanx!

As for your question, It`s possible with UK Chevettes, but I think the US owners will tell you more.
