i'm in essex UK the kadett will be getting a full respray and a new engine over the winter the new engine is a 2.0 isuzu turbo with a 5 speed box and an LSD rear axle plus a new set of 7x13" minilights with 175x50x13 yoko's 8)
i've had fords and opels for years both have their good and bad points but i rate then about equal 8) 8)

Those wouldn't be slanty-walled tyres would they Mark? I'm not sure about minilites but then again I can't seem to get this beige cardigan off :shock:

yeah kind of a euro look to it.
the smaller size for that size rim is a 185 anyway so its not to far under sized certainly not dangerous anyway but should give round about the right gearing for sprinting may fit different tires for day to day road use 8)

perhaps the plate was moved so a tow bar could be fitted?

no never had a tow bar all kadett hatches have the nuber plate there as standard :shock:

its all my own work don't trust garages to do the work :shock: seen to many horrors sorting other peoples cars when i used to do it for a living

no its an isuzu piazza turbo lump it has all the running gear from te same car including the lsd rear end 8) 8)

superb, should be quite nippy then??? ma kadett is now got carbs on the engine,and it can fairly shift.
2.0 16v opel kadett c the only way to steer is from the REAR!!!!
