nice looking car, cheers for adding some new pics for me to have a nose at, just a few questions:

around the edges of the firewall ally sheeting theres a black sealant, what one is it?

is the rear 1/4 panel filled with expanding foam, sounds odd but ive been told i should :?

as far as i know it's bog standard silicone.

i don't know about the rear quarter.

in theory the B and C pillars need to be closed off from the roof rail or the holes in the roof rail closed off - this sorts out the clause to seal the fuel from the crew.

the foam does the sealing bit but is horrible if you have to weld near it and i'm not sure how it behaves in a fire.

don't seal around the filler neck you may want it out, so i think i'd seal the base of the B and C pillar with foam. you may need to form a barrier either side to stop the foam forming a thin skin.

Great to finally see the finished car. It looks very clean. You've done a cracking job given the state of the car at the start.

BTW I used a fire retardent sealant around my panels in the boot. Got it from a local builders merchant. Never got around to sealing the B / C pillars tho. but thats never been checked by Autocross scrutineers.

I guess for rallying / Comp Car Log Booking they are a lot more thorough.

So.... when's the first event to get it dirty???
