3d model chevette

Postby Driven_out » 24 May 2005, 07:07

I'm working on a 3d model of a chevette. 1984 model. I found it on a free model site, but i'm cleaning it up making the mesh good. I'm making it for the free game 'Racer Free Car Simulation' project located at http://www.racer.nl/

I guess the front could do with some attention, but looks like it could be good.
The site looks smart too.

I will be investigating this more when I get some time.

S'allright I didn't really mean you Driven_out, I was hinting that someone else might have a bash at that after you'd touched up the current shell design. I could give it a go I guess, although I've never even come across the .z3d format before. What software do you need to edit the image?

.z3d is the primary format used by Z-Modeler...
You can find info on it here

i'll have a go when i get home.

i suppose your view on widly used depends on what you do, catia is the most common format i see, followed by autocad or a derrivative of it. sometimes see unigraphics and ideas.

The post above is my own personal opinion, it is not meant to upset or cause offence, if it does bugger off.
