The word Chevette

Postby Shellysowner » 11 Apr 2005, 01:17

Prompted by this item I looked up Chevette in a french dictionary. The closest is chevet which means at someone's bedside so a chevette might be a kind of small french bedside table :?

It also literally translates as 'small horse'. Which is very appropriate with a 1256 under the bonnet.
