Postby shedmonster » 21 Jul 2006, 22:32

Just thought I'd post and say hi again, fraid I've been absent for some time due to work and family etc... Working on the chevanne again, another (better) respray after door and sill probs showed up (bodge fell out  ) Now has 2 new sills and NS door, did headlining too, should be MoT'd for august! Also, I jus got a 2.0i manual carlton, so I'm going to upgrade the engine somewhat, so expect brakes suspention etc too... Got a sound shell now so why not? Got some manta five spokes too, they look well on the van, but other than that It'll look standard (hopefully) Dont want to chav it cos chevannes are well rare :D

Brilliant! Have you read the thread about the Chevette National? It would be awesome to have a Chevanne there :D (failing that some pictures would be great :P)

I've only every seen one decent Chevanne recently and that's the bloke's in the C&C Club.
I've searched for ages but they're all bloody bodged up!
Anyone have a 6R4 for sale? Unfortunately I've only got £1K spare but I could throw in a few eggs to sweeten the deal!

I've only ever seen one full stop (same guy). Where are all the bodged-up ones at?

Yeah, I know about the yellow Mk2, I think thats the one you mean, but I've not seen another for years now, even wrecks! Pics no problem, I'll even do a thread on the current rebuild if you like :) How do I post pics on this board?

Well first they need to be hosted online somewhere and then you can just insert them into a post using [img] tags. I think Tim wrote a guide to posting pictures somewhere.... (but I can't find it)

it's in the "News and announcements" section under the sub heading of 'How to add pictures to your posts'.
