how do boys and girls (if neily hasnt scared them all off).

i thought i'd post to explain my abscence. I've moved to warrington (manchester-ish) for a new job. I'm now earnign 20K for a company called MWH as an environmental engineer.

the irony - i'm now more skint despite an 8k payrise, courtesy of not living at home.

the chevette is still sat in wychbold, but i plan to bring her up to warrington soon, and to finally sort out that gearbox and prop and get her to live in time for the end of august for a mini championship: scatter rally, autotest and 'bont' time trials.

i still dont have broadband so i wont be making a regular reappearance for a few weeks yet.

Is anyone travelling from the wiltshire area up towards manchester that could pick up a gearbox and prop off mark for me?

for that matter, which of our members are in the area? i'm a bit closer to neily and doive now, but still not walking distance. travelling to bradford now and then with work so i might have to meet neily for a pint at some point.

Ey oop our kid, welcome back! I think since you have last been on I've moved a bit closer to you as well - Hexham is positively local. I've threatened to drop in on Neily several times now, but he has diplomatically avoided me (clever man).

Congrats on the new job, it's a bit of a ball ache when you get the first paycheck and find how much disappears in tax/NI/loans/rent/etc, left with enough for a fish supper and a cup of tea. Hope you're enjoying it as much as I'm enjoying mine. Hardest part of moving to a new place is finding people to go down the pub with.

Don't have a missus mate, haven't had for a good 18 months now. Far better to be free!

*Walks off, muttering something about being tied down and fear of committment.*

In fact, I`m going to drop in on Herbie in the next day or 2, I`m going to my Sisters tonight, about 30 miles from him.......Look out Nick, there`s a Neily about! :P

We gave all the hamsters away! They belonged to me and my flatmate anyway. The only thing stopping me causing the DVLA computer to crash with re-registrations is the lack of storage space up here.

You don't have to make excuses Neil, I've come to terms with the hurt
