why not just use them?

wheels are a consumable - and if they are genuine mag alloy minilites they will be good and strong

flog 'em. you said it yourself your car isnt competitive - so dont waste money, a few grams lighter from the wheels is going ot make begger all difference to an 8V engine trying to compete with the like of the XE.

with the money you make you could probably buy a different set of wheels and a polycarb window kit! :D

or alternatively you could buy the wife flowers and chocolates in exchange for her 'continuing support in your motorsport fetish'
when all else fails, rivets, cable ties and bodge tape will see you through

i was wondering how old these mags are if they are genuine ones from the late 70s early eightys then you dont want to be using them for motorsport now as mag wheels deteriorate strenth wise especialy after 20 or so years...i would'nt want to see you have a big off due to wheel fracture..stick with alloy ones
