VBOA Chevette pics #2

Nice Irish registered car was in the Best Club Car comp - voted for by the people at the show. Presumably this little baby was the DSG entry, not coming anywhere in the placings. It was immaculate though.

As was the engine bay...

<img src="http://www.chevettes.com/shellysowner/VBOA_2_little/DSCF0014little.JPG" align=middle border=0 /img>

...and the interior!

<img src="http://www.chevettes.com/shellysowner/VBOA_2_little/DSCF0023little.JPG" align=middle border=0 /img>

Dunno which club entered this GL hatch, certainly not COG or the DSG. It was very nice but was also unplaced!

<img src="http://www.chevettes.com/shellysowner/VBOA_2_little/DSCF0018little.JPG" align=middle border=0 /img>

Again, nice engine bay!

<img src="http://www.chevettes.com/shellysowner/VBOA_2_little/DSCF0022little.JPG" align=middle border=0 /img>

Standard-ish '75 hatch had a chromed drainpipe for an exhaust.

<img src="http://www.chevettes.com/shellysowner/VBOA_2_little/DSCF0040little.JPG" align=middle border=0 /img>

Peas in a pod - HSs on the DSG stand.

<img src="http://www.chevettes.com/shellysowner/VBOA_2_little/DSCF0041little.JPG" align=middle border=0 /img>

It's not silver!!! HSR with a different rally look.

<img src="http://www.chevettes.com/shellysowner/VBOA_2_little/DSCF0042little.JPG" align=middle border=0 /img>

One of two silver HSRs on the DSG stand that I didn't see at Retro Cars. Thought it was only one of them I hadn't seen though, so only snapped one.

<img src="http://www.chevettes.com/shellysowner/VBOA_2_little/DSCF0056little.JPG" align=middle border=0 /img>

Non DTV HSR was campaigned in the 80's by a privateer.

Andrews Heat For Hire car is immaculate up-close.

<img src="http://www.chevettes.com/shellysowner/VBOA_2_little/DSCF0080little.JPG" align=middle border=0 /img>

'78 orange tan 4-dr is in good overall condition but a little tatty in places.

<img src="http://www.chevettes.com/shellysowner/VBOA_2_little/DSCF0082little.JPG" align=middle border=0 /img>

Standard beige hacth with different wheels trims turned up late and was chock full of various bits. I'd like to see it parked next to Mint's car.

Much modified HS-kitted hatch was built for Rob's son to learn to drive in. Check out the repeaters in the door mirrors!

Wings like a colander and damage to the nose and front bumper mean this car is a little way away from perfect. The owner seems very determined to put that right though.

Hey Ralph , When were these pics taken ?? The Blue Chevette hatch (YVS 133X) was one of my cars !! It's in far better condition than it was when I owned it.

the blue chevette hatch is going to run into problems if he continues to neglect the rust beneath the washer bottle - look closely
when all else fails, rivets, cable ties and bodge tape will see you through

LOL, don't worry yourself unnecessarily there young Andrew - no offense taken. I should really have put a smiley of some kind after my comment. I understand what you really meant, I was making a little joke of my own.

We have the expression 'join the club' here in England too btw :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
